*Job Summary:* An operator will assemble parts via injection molding while also maintaining the highest industry standards as established by Grand Traverse Plastics Corp.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* · Performs process and quality verifications.
· Load assembly fixtures.
· Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in part production.
· Visually inspect parts for any defects during molding and assembly per job instructions.
· Fill out downtime and/or defective part sheets.
· Ability to comprehend work orders.
· Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
· Other duties as assigned.
*Additional Duties and Responsibilities:* · Ability to multitask in role to maintain production standards.
· Acts as first person for verifying and understanding safety protocols.
· May be certified in hi-lo and/or overhead crane operation.
*Qualifications, Experience, and Specific Skills Required:* *Education/Experience: *High School or equivalent preferred, no prior experience necessary.
*Specific Skills: * Maintain professional working relationships.
Communicate effectively with co-workers.
Remain in stationary position for majority of shift.
Frequently transport items weighing up to 25 pounds.
