We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our team! You will organize, coordinate and supervise commercial projects by driving progress and overseeing schedules while keeping it all on budget while ensuring on-time completion, identifying variances, and consistently remaining proactive throughout a project.
As a project manager, you will also be responsible for ordering materials and scheduling manpower during each phase of a project and will be accountable for ensuring the profitability of a portfolio of projects is maximized.
*Project Manager Responsibilities:*
* Project management from the start to finish with planning, scheduling, coordinating resources, project accounting and control, technical direction, and quality and safety compliance.
* Build relationships and communicate effectively with key vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, builders, and employees.
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to the company values which promotes an environment that encourages teamwork.
* Ability to learn new concepts, adapt to changing business needs, track and collect data, and forecast data and economic trends.
*Project Manager Qualifications and Requirements:*
* Either 5+ years of field experience with a strong sense of management and computer skills OR a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar study.
* Knowledge of construction business such as sheet metal, welding, pipefitting, plumbing, and HVAC service or installation.
* Have strong attention to detail.
* Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel with a full understanding of computer work.
* Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
* Have great communication with an understanding of negotiation, reading and writing.
* Ability to follow all company procedures and policies.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Ability to apply building codes.
* Be thorough and reliable.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and drawings.
* Ability to work under deadlines.
* Ability to be part of a high-functioning team with an emphasis on treating co-workers, supervisors, and customers with respect and a spirit of cooperation.
* Valid driver's license and ability to be an insurable driver.
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (urine & hair).
