As our Maintenance Technician you will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, install, and repair production and/or facilities machines and equipment in accordance with established manufacturing procedures to achieve efficiency, quality and optimum production.

*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Maintenance experience required
* Electrical experience required
* Plumbing experience required
* Ammonia/Refrigeration experience helpful
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
* Strong written and verbal communication skills required
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Must have the ability to resolve issues in a timely, organized, and cost-efficient manner
* Proactive, self-directed, independent worker with self confidence
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, move, or utilize objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk/hear
* The employee is occasionally required to use sensory perception for quality measurement of products
* Physical duties involved in performing this position include but are not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, bending, standing, crouching, reaching overhead, and climbing
* Must also be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Position requires constant and continuous support of production and other departments
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
* Non-slip shoes required
* Must be able to wear safety googles/ear protection when necessary
* Must be able to wear appropriate PPE where/when required when accessing certain areas of facility
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Must be able to pass drug test
* Strong work history with good attendance is required
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Ensure that the plant equipment is always operational and in safe working condition, to prevent production down time
* Assist in facilitates maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment
* Keep equipment and machinery in safe working condition
* Work safely and maintain a safe work environment following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety practices, and proper Lockout/Tagout procedures
* Work with other personnel on continuous improvement to plant equipment and practices in cost, quality, service, and safety
* Identify and execute opportunities to improve plant equipment
* Facilitate a safe work environment through auditing and inspecting areas for safety hazards and observing team member safe work habits
* Corrects all OSHA violations and potential hazards in a timely manner
* Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs, and OSHA standards
* The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
* Ability to operate a forklift/maintain certification
