Our growing company, AdvisaCare is looking for a Part Time Medical Director to help lead our organizations expanding continuum of care to provide the right care, at the right time , in the right place, every time.
** Coverage area will be for Traverse City, Cadillac and surrounding areas!**

Requirements
Clinical oversight for all hospice patients (5-10 hours per week)
Provide treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy, and personal empowerment.
Oversee patient medication prescriptions as required
Documenting in specified EMR
Phone on-call for clinical questions and orders
Supervise Nurse Practitioner
Attend interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings every other week
Carry out any other duties as may be required by the company from time to time.
Qualified candidates:
Licensed to practice as a DO, or MD by the state of Michigan
Minimum 1-year physician experience
Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
Basic knowledge of Hospice philosophy
