RN - Director of Patient Care

*JOB OVERVIEW* The *Director of Patient Care Services* leads, collaborates integrates, facilitates and evaluates to create and maintain an environment that develops and supports professional nursing practice.
The Director collaborates with other executives in the organization in making decisions about health care services, settings and organizational priorities.
The Director oversees ICU, CVU, House Supervisors, Progressive Pool (Float Pool), and reports to the CNO.
Assists nursing managers with the development, implementation and monitoring of supply, capital and FTE budgets.
Collaborates with Human Resources and nursing managers in the recruitment and retention of nursing personnel.
Serves on medical staff committees and nursing staff committees as a nursing representative or advisor.
