Overview:
This is a full time seasonal position that oversees a team of 3-4 people on a daily basis and entails basic supervisory functions such as managing café inventory, completing weekly work schedules, and offering basic leadership and support to a small staff.

Responsibilities:
Scheduling, daily staffing levels, billing transactions, inventory, etc.
Ensure cleanliness of restaurant, along with maintaining a clean, neat, and well-organized work area.
Take appropriate action on any complaints or problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain awareness in relation to accident prevntion, safety, and fire prevention
Prepare and serve hot or cold food, prepare and serve a full functioning bar and cart service on the golf course.
Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
Order, receive, stock, price, and display supplies or retail products from multiple vendors.
Provide customers with product details.
Receive and process customer payments.
Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
Take out garbage.
Create signs to advertise store products or events.
Prepare or serve menu items, such as sandwiches or salads
Set up or restock product displays.
Supervisory Duties
This position directly supervises 6-8 team members in the café, and is responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
This also includes interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding team members, as well as addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age and possess valid driver’s license with a clean mobile driving record.
Should be ServSafe certified or have the ability obtain it upon hire.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training expected
Some experience with point of sale software preferred.
Must be available holidays and weekends.
