Supervisory
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Welder/Fabricators.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include participating in training employees; execution of the project plan, assigning, and directing work; providing performance feedback; rewarding and disciplining employees; providing Production Manager with feedback in regards to addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsible for overseeing the quality of day-to-day operations of a crew, to ensure they are communicating effectively to work toward a common goal, remaining productive, achieving the expectations, and avoiding conflict.

Be conscientious of your team, and ensure safety for them, yourself, and everyone associated with our operations.
Realize the importance of structure, and the fact the welders, fabricators, and laborers look to you for support.
Lead the activities of the team members in the production of quality welded/fabricated products in accordance with work instructions and company policy to ensure a quality product delivered on time.
Implement job related instruction for employees they are managing.
Support the Superintendent in creating a high morale workplace.
Understand that reducing the man hours required to produce a product is the biggest contribution that can be made by them and the team.
Manage the production of your team.
Hold crew members accountable for their progress.
Ensures welding and fabricating processes (quality, safety…) are adhered to and not compromised.
Inspect your own welds as well as crew member’s (fit-up, grind off any slag/spatter, weld profile, etc.
) prior to paging an Inspector.
Provide input/feedback of employee performance.
Assist in and provide feedback to the Superintendent on team building strategies, process control, and continues process improvement tools to support the project expectations and the shop operating goals.
Maintain communication and co-operation throughout the different divisions within our organization.
Conduct toolbox talk for safety and communication and planning.
Responsible for housekeeping in area you are working in, to ensure it remains neat and clean.
At the end of the day, the last 15 minutes is dedicated to picking up and putting away tools and sweeping the floor.

Fluent in Weld setup processes (Aluminum, Carbon, Stainless)
