POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the vice president & COO, the Manager of Board and Inductee Relations serves as the point of contact for the Board of Directors and Members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame; and serves as staff liaison for the Governance Committee.
Compensation is based on experience and includes employer-paid health, dental, and vision, and matching retirement contributions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solicit nominations year-round for Oklahoma Hall of Fame induction, manage nomination deadlines and processes, create biography vignettes for review by the Selection Committee, and prepare necessary elements for meeting of the Selection Committee and Board of Directors.
Serve as the catalyst for processes upon the death, illness, or recognition of Members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and Board of Directors.
Track ticket and table purchases for the annual induction Oklahoma Hall of Fame Announcement Luncheon, Induction Ceremony, and Honoree and Patron Donor Reception.
Collaborate with other departments as needed regarding Members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and the Board of Directors.
In conjunction with other departments, annually communicate with Members of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in person, via telephone, electronically, or written correspondence.
Prepare and distribute materials, including managing attendance, for meetings of the Board of Directors and Governance Committee, and act as recording secretary for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in recording minutes.
Responsible for daily opening of the mail and preparing deposit.
Duties otherwise assigned.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; must have visual acuity to read and draft reports, memorandums, and other printed matter, and must be able to lift up to 50pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee will work year-round in both an office environment and outdoors.
The noise level in the work environment varies from quiet to loud; situations characteristic to working with school-age children are common; and travel toother sites within the metropolitan area are possible.
