Our Lead Teacher’s responsibilities include:
* Plan and implement lessons and activities for children in the classroom using Creative Curriculum.
* Supervise children during all activities: inside, outside, meals, diapering, etc.
* Maintain a safe environment both indoors and outdoors, including cleaning duties.
* Collaborate with the child, parent & coworkers to address concerns.
* Oversee the day to day operations of the classroom.
* Demonstrate willingness to learn and further your understanding and education in how children develop.
* Interact with children, parents & coworkers in a caring, respectful manner.
Our Lead Teacher must meet the following requirements:
* Be at least 19 years of age.
* Have a high school diploma/GED.
* Have a minimum of 6 semester hours or 18 CEU’s in a child related field OR be willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
* Be willing to get a TB (tuberculosis) test.
* Be willing to get fingerprinted and pass a background check.
* Childcare experience required
* CPR & First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 3 months of hire

* We are open Monday-Friday from 7:15am-5:30pm, meaning evenings & weekends off!
