Under the direct supervision of the Antrim County Administrator and the Veterans Affairs Committee, the Director supervises staff, performs management level administrative functions, and provides information and assistance to veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits through federal, state, and local avenues.
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related area of social services or an equivalent level of education and experience is necessary.
Candidate must possess a valid Michigan drivers' license; must obtain VA accreditation through the Office of General Counsel of the US Department of Veterans Affairs within 6 months of employment.
VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card must be applied for an obtained within one year of employment.
