Maintenance and Apartment Manager

Stratford Group is looking for a maintenance person or team to manage an apartment community in Petoskey, Michigan.
This position will require interaction with residents, vendors, and future residents with a professional demeanor and appearance.
Person or team will be responsible for day to day operations of the community, as well as the face of the community for future residents.
Employee must live on-site in an apartment provided as part of compensation.
Weekly hours for this community are about 35-40 hours per week.
We are looking for the following abilities and skills.
Ability to communicate with a diverse population Professional Demeanor Must be comfortable with paperwork Should have the ability to quickly assess situation and re-act appropriately Be familiar with Fair Housing and Civil Rights or willing to learn Skills Cleaning of common areas and vacant apartments Basic plumbing and electrical skills Day to day maintenance of units and common areas Unit turn skills – painting, maintenance, and cleaning HVAC/Boiler experience a plus Knowledge of lawn mower and snow blower maintenance is a plus Other duties as assigned.
