Immediate opportunities for part-time home health aides and direct caregivers! Several assignments are available, with a variety of daytime hour shifts to choose from.
These opportunities do require some weekend hours.
Health insurance is available for employees working more than thirty hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the care plan, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of a nurse
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care or a related healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
- Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
