We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RDH to join our periodontal office.
As a hygienist in a periodontal practice, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional oral care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform supportive periodontal therapy (periodontal maintenance), scaling/ root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Obtain dental radiographs as required (digital/ DEXIS sensors)
- Conduct thorough examinations, oral cancer screenings, and periodontal chartings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Document patient treatment plans and progress in Dentrix
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan RDH license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist strongly recommended
- Proficiency in using dental practice software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping
