*POSITION SUMMARY*
We are seeking a candidate for a unique position to assist in ensuring continuing operations.
The role will involve being on call to staff emergency open shifts in the agency service area, filling shifts as a Home Health Aide on a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation, with every other weekend off.
The position requires open availability (for day and night shift staffing) when on call.
This position will be compensated at a fixed rate of $720 per week (even on off weeks) for up to 40 hours.
Overtime compensation will be paid for any hours worked over 40 hours per week.
Based on historical data, it is anticipated that the position will cover approximately one night shift per month, with the rest being day shift hours.
The position will be required to work in the office, completing clerical duties two days per week during their rotation if not performing duties as a Home Health Aide.
Secretarial/clerical duties may include a combination of answering phones, relaying messages to clients and employees, file organization and maintenance, and general office cleaning.
*SCHEDULE*
Rotating schedule of 7 days on call - 7 days off.
Every other weekend.
Guaranteed compensation for 40 hours per week (even if working less than 40), but must be available for the full 24 hours when on call.
Overtime potentially available, but this role will not be required to work over 40 hours per week.
Overtime compensation will be paid for any hours worked over 40 per week.
A company vehicle will be provided for travel to and from covered shifts.
*MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL (IN COMPANY VEHICLE) THROUGHOUT SERVICE AREA.
COMPANY SERVICE AREA ENCOMPASSES AN APPROXIMATE 70-MILE RADIUS FROM GAYLORD.

*REQUIREMENTS*
* Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or Caregiver.
* Ability to read, write, count, add and subtract.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Knowledge, skill, and ability normally obtained through completion of recognized high school health careers courses or 1-3 months of on-the-job training.
* American Heart Association BLS certification within 60 days of start date and renewed every 2 years.
* Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with the team.
* Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
* Ability to lift and maneuver equipment; ability to position and transfer patients using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
* Ability to utilize sensory skills for clinical and environmental assessment.
* Ability to operate a computer and utilize medical information systems; basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel applications preferred.
