Finance Supervsior

Under general supervision, performs accounting and analysis functions to support plant operations.
Supports budget/forecast process, internal controls, capital expenditures, and month end processes including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.

Benefits are also above market and include the below for all fulltime employees: Day 1 Medical Coverage with potential of no monthly premium Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Coverage Tuition Reimbursement Program after 18 moths Retirement Savings Plan (401k) with a matching program Company paid holidays and vacation starting Day 1 Key responsibilities Supports budget/forecast process and manages areas as assigned Ensures an effective internal control environment with policies/procedures that comply with US GAAP, ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) and Company policy requirements Assist Control with maintaining and continuously developing internal control environment, including documenting and evaluating the effectiveness of the segregation of duties and effectiveness of the financial reporting structure – includes chart of accounts, sub-ledger postings to the general ledger under SAP environment Responsible for journal entry preparation and uploading into the general ledger; uploads monthly data to Hyperion Works with intercompany transactions – monthly charges, reconciliation, intercompany sales, netting of balances.
Update and review narratives with the process owners.
Ensures narratives are maintained and reviewed timely.
Support of fixed assets process which may include tracking and reconciling to general ledger and budget forecast, monitoring transactions, and tracking to approved amounts by individual approved requisition, tagging and inventorying, maintaining depreciation, communicating and creating reports.
Supports Controller with tax reporting and payment, SOD oversight and reporting including maintaining narratives and identifying issues, audits (internal and external), analysis and reports, creating communications including PowerPoints or other required electronic documentation.
SAP maintenance as required specific to job duties.
May serve as back up to monthly reporting, HFM, and support various adhoc projects as assigned.
Completes special assignments timely in an accurate, timely manner according to business controls and accepted accounting principles.
