Working with our Executive Housekeeper and our best in class Housekeeping Team to ensure all the details for a great guest experience are exceeded; such as cleaning and organizing of guest rooms and common space.

They maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and providing customers with quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
They ensure that all areas of the hotel are inviting, and they will address all guest queries politely and knowledgeably.
*Essential Job Functions*: * Always recognize and warmly greet hotel guests whenever encountered within the hotel.
* Attend daily department briefing sessions to receive the daily room assignments, special notices, general hotel information, and any activities that are going on.
* Sweep/Mop and vacuum carpets throughout the public areas; including stairwells * Keep hotel entrances clean and free of any debris and obstructions.
* Clean, disinfect, refill paper/soap, and polish fixtures in the restrooms; continue to check throughout the day * Dust all windows, wall edges, chairs, tables, etc * Clean elevators, including floors, walls, doors * Clean and disinfect drinking fountain * Collect garbage throughout the hotel public areas.
* Dispose of garbage in the correct way according to hotel standards.
* Assist Room Attendants in the making of beds during the busy times.
* Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests; such as rollaway and/or microwaves * Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests * Assist in any deep cleaning projects as requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
* Report any damage, wear and tear arising in any of your working areas.
* Ensure that the hallways, stairways, and corridors are kept free of any obstructions.
* Ability to read and understand the proper use, storage, and disposal of all chemicals used.
* Ensure that any equipment used is properly secured and re-stocked at the end of the shift.
* Ensure that your daily assigned keys, pagers, and completed paperwork have been turned into your Supervisor or Manager at the end of your shift.

*Required Experience/Requirements:* * Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience preferred * Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards * Physical mobility and stamina * Ability to follow instruction * Professional and polite * Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays *Physical Demands*: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
