*Revenue Cycle Lead – Medical Office*
*Salary: *$45,000-$60,000
*Job Description:* Oversee various aspects of the revenue cycle process for the orthopaedic clinic.
The position requires a strong knowledge of the entire revenue cycle process including payer enrollment, coding, claims processing, payment posting, rejections, denials and appeals.
Act as point of contact for patients, providers and staff to answer questions as it relates to the claim cycle
*Essential Job Functions:*
-Monitors outstanding AR and addresses any issues as they arise
-Working claim holds and denials, as well as submitting appeals as necessary
-Monitors the work of the off-site revenue cycle team provided by the EHR vendor.
-Assists with monthly and yearly financial and productivity reports as they relate to the revenue cycle.
-Acts as a resource for physicians, management, and staff on topics related to the revenue cycle process and insurance coverage.
-Completes payer enrollment for new providers, as well as re-credentialing as needed.
This includes updating CAQH files at least every 90 days.
-Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested
-Completes other duties as assigned by the business office manager or CEO
*Job Requirements:*
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing/revenue cycle management required
-Minimum 1 year experience in a lead role preferred
-CPB, CPC, or equivalent certification OR Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
