*Job description*
Duties:
* Provide basic patient care as directed by nursing staff
* Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
* Document and report patient information, including food and fluid intake and output
* Assist with patient transfer and mobility
* Providing compassionate care to patients at end-of-life
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
* Current CNA certification
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospice or home health
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
* Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as Oasis
* Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from nursing staff
* Excellent communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient service
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from nursing staff
* Ability to work flexible hours and provide coverage in case of staffing shortages
