X-Ray Technologist

Interventional radiology outpatient facility located in Mt.
Pleasant; Michigan is hiring for a casual position for an x-ray technologist.
Interested candidates should hold an Associates degree from a school of Radiologic Technology and be registered with ARRT Technology with 1 year of experience, preferred but not required.
Responsibilities Include: -Assist radiologist and/or other providers in procedures as necessary.
-Explain exam procedure to patient in a professional and concise manner.
-Navigate the image storage system to send, review, manipulate, and print images, and resolve exceptions when needed.
-Correct, update, and complete all exam documentation in the radiology information system to assure timely, accurate bill submission.
Requirements Include: -Demonstrated competency as a radiographer -Ability to work independently -Flexible and able to work various shifts -Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
