ca is seeking a *Nurse Informaticist Neurology Services *to work for our public sector client at the *Island Health(IHealth) *in the Province of British Columbia.
This is a remote role and must be available *100% to work remote full-time 40 hours per week* with availability Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Pacific Time Zone*.

Island Health is continuing to progress the iHealth initiative by expanding the implementation of Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) in tertiary sites, activating next in Victoria General Hospital (VGH) and Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH).
The CPOE stream encompasses the implementation of guided electronic ordering for diagnostic tests, medications and specialist referrals.
Medication safety focuses on closed loop medication management, including bar code medication administration and includes interaction checking, medication reconciliation and electronic management of medication histories.
The IHealth team and senior clinical and medical leaders have agreed that Victoria General Hospital (VGH) will go live in mid-February 2024 and Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH) will go live in mid-March 2024 with computerized provider order entry (CPOE) and a “closed-loop” medication administration and management system.
Gorge Road Health Centre (GRHC) and South Island Surgical Centre (SISC) will activate with VGH *Service Required* Scope of the work includes: * Nurse Informaticist required to support the localization and implementation of Neurology services: * Supporting requirements gathering and design for clinical localization.
* Engagements with clinical unit leaders, staff, and physicians in supporting completion of the work deliverables.
* Creating end to end clinical workflows.
* Completing requirements gathering to populate DCWs.
* Creating and executing test scripts for functional testing of design as well as regression testing of end to end workflow.
* Documenting JIRA Decision and Change tickets to execute design and build work as well as decisions required to route through clinical/project governance.
* Using Service NOW to coordinate build work with relevant build teams through organizations technical change process.
* Working with education team to inform and validate education content creation for activation.
*Consultant Qualifications* * Recent and relevant clinical experience as Nurse Informaticist with Neurology.
* Relevant Cerner experience with Neurology design and implementation with a focus on end to end design.
* Ability to engage with clinical staff and providers in a professional matter to elicit information and requirements to support: workflow mapping; functional design (scheduling appointment books, quick orders pages, powerforms, dyndoc, position builds, orders to scheduling, etc.
) * Ability to work with and develop/complete DCWs in collaboration with relevant partners in informatics and build teams.
* Ability to create and execute functional and regression test scripts for clinics.
* Ability to work independently and be self motivated as well as work as part of a larger diffuse team.
* Ability to facilitate meetings and have excellent presentation skills.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, organizing workload and priorities.
* Proficient use of excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
* Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to organize workload and priorities.
* Must work PST Time and be available full time hours.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $85.
