Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Special Education Teacher

Primary Function: To provide instruction in subject-matter, helping students to develop skills that will contribute to their growth and employment as mature, able, and responsible citizens.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher, with endorsement in at least one area of Special Education preferred Valid Michigan teaching certificate or Must be eligible for a Michigan substitute permit through the Michigan Department of Education (minimum 60 credit hours from a regionally accredited college/university) Such alternatives beyond the above qualifications as the board of education deems appropriate and acceptable Job Length: September 3, 2024 - November 20,2024 Salary Details: Days 1-10: $15.
30/hour Days 11+: $35.
63/hour Snow days, holidays & breaks are not paid All Substitute Teacher positions are contracted with Edustaff.
