Responsibilities:

Create an environment conductive to safety, fun, and learning.
Deliver high-quality skiing lessons to individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the specific needs and abilities of each participant.
Cover a wide range of skiing techniques, from beginner to advanced levels.
Organize and conduct both group and private ski lessons for guests.
Prioritize the safety of all guests by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and ensure compliance with resort policies.
Demonstrate and communicate proper ski techniques following the guidelines established by the resort and Professional Ski Instructors of America
Accurately assess the skiing abilities of participants and identify areas for improvement.
Offer constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance their skills and confidence.
Assist guests with fitting and adjusting skiing equipment to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
Provide guidance on appropriate gear based on individual needs and skiing level.
Meet schedule commitments to cover business needs.
Help cover as many of the peak business days as possible.
Support Snow Sports School sales by learning, understanding, and being able to explain products, reservation processes, and other operational procedures to team members and guests to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
18 + years of age.
Must be reliable, dependable, and timely.
PSIA/AASI Certified Level 1 status preferred, but not mandatory.
Must have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it.
Must have availability during holiday periods (December 23rd – 31st, January 13th – 15th, February 16th – 25th).
