Position Overview
Join us in the summer of 2024 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen.
We are seeking passionate and collaborative Instructors of Intermediate Acting who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists.
As an Instructor of Intermediate Acting, you will teach classes in Acting Technique and Voice & Movement within the Theatre Arts division.
This position develops and implements high-quality theatre curriculum for talented young students who are committed to further developing their craft.
What You Get To Do
Collaborate with fellow instructors to provide meaningful learning opportunities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
Oversee growth and progress of all students within the program
Attend weekly departmental meetings
Create appropriate curriculum for the skill level of the campers
This position will be responsible with organizing day-to-day interactions with his/her respective campers in the Theatre Arts division

What You Need
Availability 6/22/24 - 8/4/24
Prepared to live in a dorm or nature cabin setting.
MA or MFA preferred, BA or BFA required
Candidates should have experience teaching, directing, and working with youth
Significant professional experience expected
