JOB DESCRIPTION:
Maximizes sales by helping customers select and purchase merchandise, while following all company standards, policies and procedures.
Assists store management by overseeing the sales floor and delivery area.
Partners with store management to implement all corporate and store programs, practices and policies.
Works with store staff to follow store merchandising standards and restock merchandise.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure highest levels of customer service which will result in increased productivity
Perform opening and closing procedures (i.
e.
, opening cash counts, closing deposits, shift management, etc.
) in accordance with MPEC policies
Provide direction and give feedback to store management regarding staff performance
Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of cost effective events to generate additional sales
Present a positive attitude toward the Company, product and staff
Present a professional appearance and maintain MPEC grooming standards and Dress Code
Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and staff members
Attend training and meetings as required
Adhere to policies and procedures of the store
Enforce and maintain the highest visual standards, including displays, signage, lighting and counter areas
Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the sales floor in a timely and organized manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge and experience in the Automotive Aftermarket
Excellent customer service, communication and organization skills
Must be completely reliable
Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work flexible hours
