What’s Required
Must have one of the following (required):
Associate’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) with 2 years’ relevant experience (IS/Business or healthcare)
Bachelor’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis)
4 years in healthcare or IS/Business experience
Experience in Information Systems is beneficial
Experience in healthcare is beneficial
Technical knowledge to include
Troubleshooting network connectivity issues
Experience with network switches, wireless, and routing
Strong aptitude for problem solving and advanced troubleshooting techniques
Basic knowledge of network performance and troubleshooting techniques
General understanding of security issues and implications to network solutions
General understanding of wireless functionality
Specific Duties
Design and deploy managed LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, UPSs, and other hardware.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
General network operations of the department including process improvement, and some planning.
Perform tasks independently.
