Steamer Trunk - Dome Top (1800's) - $75 (Williamsburg)

* 1800's Steamer trunk - Domed top originated in France.
The History: * Came to Michigan by way of Europe - Entered Canada via Quebec around 1870.
From there traveled by land to Salt Saint Marie Ontario where it was a trade to my Native American Great Grandfather for 2 deer hide (winter) coats.
From there it made it's way to Salt Saint Marie Michigan - and then by train to northern California for about 30 years and eventually back to Millington MI after traveling to the west coast and back.
(This was in the early 1900's.
