Job Title: Corporate Accountant Job Type: Full time Job Responsibilities: Timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable invoices and payments Resolve invoice disputes and delinquent payment issues Timely and accurate processing of Accounts Receivable billing and collections Establish contact with customers regarding account balances and invoices Resolve billing discrepancies and handle customer inquiries or complaints Preparation and management of payroll data in preparation for processing Maintain payroll files in accordance with federal and state regulations to include accrual on leave balances Reconcile bank accounts, conduct account reconciliations, and review transactions for accuracy Produce timely and accurate financial reports as requested Oversee and support budgeting activities Assist with audit activities, providing the required documentation and materials to external auditors Assist and support the ongoing design and implementation of accounting department policies and practices This is a newly created position.
Additional duties will be assigned as the job description expands and we develop the position and competencies.
Minimum Qualifications: Expert knowledge of QuickBooks (desktop AND online) 3+ years of accounting experience, accounting degree preferred Expert MS Excel; formulas and spreadsheets, pivot tables a plus Strong research skills to research AP/GL/AR discrepancies Excessively detail-oriented; good verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently Servant minded attitude Benefits: Competitive Wages Weekly Pay Simple IRA w/ Company Match Health & Dental Insurance /Aflac Paid Holidays / Vacation Compensation: $65K-75K (based on experience/skill set) Qualified candidates: please email your resume to the hiring manager jeanie.
