*Position Senior Accountant*
*Salary Range: $70,000.
00 - $80,000.
00* This position would allow for hybrid remote work, with the expectation that the candidate trains in the office initially and commutes to the office 2 - 3 times per week, and as needed, the candidate would be required to relocate to Traverse City, MI region.
*Position Description* Truly Free, Inc.
has a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant to join our Finance team and help our company grow! We are willing to train the right team member with an education in Accounting, knowledge of GAAP, and experience in financial statement and budget preparation.
This team member will work with all departments in the company on various tasks including a/p, a/r, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, financial statement preparation, and budgets/forecasts.

*Major Duties and Responsibilities:* * Preparation of monthly financial statements and related reporting such as budget v actual * Assist CFO with forecasts, monthly outlooks, and other forward-looking reports * Reconcile monthly cash, credit card, and sales ledgers * Perform daily accounting tasks including a/r, a/p, revenue, COGS, asset management, and other tasks as required *Qualifications and Competencies:* * An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
CPA is a plus.
* Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
Experience with e-commerce business and sales tax compliance is a plus.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of management & and staff, both internal and external to the company.
* Must be legal to work in the United States and successfully pass a background check.
