Accounting Specialist

```Duties``` - Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records - Work with CPA toPrepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations - Conduct general ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies - Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments - Utilize Partner Platform or Applied Epic software to maintain accurate financial records - Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports - Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor and forecast company's financial position - Support corporate finance activities, such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning - Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets ```Requirements``` - Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in insurance accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
