We are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting (manufacturing) and possess expertise in financial auditing, regulatory reporting, and accrual accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
- Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
- Analyzing financial data and providing financial recommendations
- Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards
- Generating financial reports
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
- Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents
- Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
- Collaborate with other entities to ensure timely intercompany reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing, including cash reconciliation and costing analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and GAAP principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Sage and QuickBooks
- Ability to perform detailed financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA certification is a plus
